The SurgeryPark Lodge Medical Centre is a converted three storey Edwardian House. Three consulting rooms and the nurses room are on the ground floor, there are two more surgeries on the first floor as well as a treatment room which is used for minor surgery. We are currently registering patients. If you wish to register with us
please bring your NHS medical card(if you can find it), Photographic proof
of ID and proof of your address (e.g. Utility Bill and Passport) to the
surgery and speak to the receptionists. They will first check that you
live within the practice area.
You may only register with Drs High, Kouloumas or Parkinson. Drs Gill
and Griffin are only here part-time. Disabled AccessThe surgery has access for wheelchairs on the ground floor. There is also a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. Some doctors have rooms upstairs but will happily see people on the ground floor if necessary. Please ask if you need help. Medical Student TeachingPark Lodge Medical Centre teaches medical students from the Royal Free
Hospital and University College Hospital. We may ask you if you are prepared to help with the teaching. There is no obligation on you to help but we would be grateful if you are able. All that will be required is that you allow the students to take your "medical history", that is, answer questions and tell them about yourself. Comments and ComplaintsWe do try to give you the best service possible but we would appreciate your help in advising us of any problems you may have identified. If you wish to make a complaint please telephone or write to the Practice Manager who will take full details and decide how best to undertake the investigation in accordance with the best practice guidelines issued by the Department of Health. Repeat PrescriptionsIf you require repeat medication this should be requested 48 hours in advance, ideally on your computer generated prescription side sheet. Repeat prescription requests are not accepted over the telephone unless the patient is housebound and has no one to deliver the request for them. This has to be so to avoid errors. Prescriptions can be collected from the surgery during normal working hours or if you provide a SAE we are happy to post your prescription to you. Some local chemists provide a collection service for prescriptions. You would need to discuss this option with your own chemist. Your doctors like to review your treatment periodically so you may be asked to make an appointment to see them. Order your repeat prescriptions on-line. To do this you need to register for this service and you will then be able to order repeat prescriptions online. Instructions to register are available here. Opening HoursThe surgery is open from 0830-1300 and 1400-1830 Monday to Friday. We do not open on Saturdays. To get help at other times please see our Out of Hours cover arrangments. |
